BILAN award for the best employer in 2020

This award, annually granted by the Bilan magazine, distinguishes Swiss companies that innovate in areas such as time and space planning at work, training, as well as the promotion of equality, health and remuneration. SIG has been awarded this prestigious prize for the 4th consecutive year in the public and semi-public entities category.

Signatory of the Worksmart Charter

1+ pour tous

The "1+ pour tous" label is a distinction awarded to private or public economic stakeholders who (with equal skills) engage or actively participate in the recruitment of unemployed persons residing in the canton of Geneva. Its purpose is to encourage the return to the labour market of persons subject to discrimination on grounds of age, disability, voluntary interruption of their professional career or following an excessive period of unemployment.


The SIG training centre holds the eduQua label, which guarantees high quality, interactive and participant-oriented training courses.


The Foundation for Vocational and Continuous Training (FFPC) supports SIG in its mission to maintain and develop the skills of its employees. As the product of a public-private partnership, it promotes training in sectors experiencing a shortage of qualified staff in order to promote employability in Geneva.

Swiss Award for Public Excellence

Thanks to EquiLibre, SIG was awarded the 1st prize in the Swiss Society of Administrative Sciences (SSSA) competition for innovative ideas in administration. A great token of recognition that encourages SIG to continue its commitment to a new work culture.
