The House of the Future, a SIG exhibition space

Le site

Since 2010, the "Les Berges de Vessy" association has been responsible for promoting the industrial heritage of the site and running a programme of activities based on such themes as water, renewable energies, heritage and nature. Inaugurated in March 2015, the “Maison du Futur”, or House of the Future, represents the culmination of this renovation project undertaken by SIG in recent years.

Current exhibition

Immersions – Une exposition sur l’eau

Multiple forms, multiple facets, multiple issues, source of inspiration and the basis of all forms of life, cause for conflict or solution for a different tomorrow? Elusive, it flows wildly through the themes of our time, sculpts our landscapes, draws our borders, dictates our policies. While in Switzerland, the myth of the water tower is taking on water, the seemingly infinite resource is nevertheless starting to dwindle.

The Immersions exhibition offers an intimate plunge into this prodigious aquatic universe.

On a local and collaborative basis, this exhibition lends a voice to the players of the region who commit themselves on a daily basis to preserve this priceless element and offers a showcase for the artists who are inspired by it.

A rich programme accompanies the various audiences throughout the exhibition.
