The éco21 programme objectives
Energy savings constitute one of the key components of the energy transition. They contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the climate, and to the phasing out of nuclear power at a local and global level. Since 2007, the SIG-éco21 programme has been successfully supporting Geneva residents in reducing their energy consumption and their CO2 emissions.
Aligned with the objectives of the Confederation (Energy Strategy 2050) and of the Canton of Geneva (Société à 2000W), it aims to make Geneva the most efficient region in the world.
SIG can also develop partnerships with local firms or with Industrial Services in other Cantons in Switzerland to promote the éco21 programme solutions.
